Governance oriented toward the deployment of the ESG strategy
All of ARGAN’s governance bodies are involved in defining and ensuring the proper implementation of the roadmap rolled out for 2023–2030.
- The Executive Board: composed of a tight-knit team of four members, it is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the ESG roadmap, with regular thematic reviews during its meetings, as well as for ensuring the proper application of the charters approved and adopted by ARGAN;
- The Supervisory Board: composed of six members, including two independent members, has been reviewing ESG matters since 2023 as part of the activity report of the Audit, Risk and Sustainability Committee, at least once a year. This committee is notably responsible for monitoring the proper implementation of the ESG Strategy.
In addition to the company’s governing bodies, ARGAN has established an internal Energy / Environment Monitoring Committee. Dedicated to tracking energy-related actions and investment plans, it meets once a month and brings together the company’s key managers as well as the staff directly involved. Since January 2024, this committee has been extended to cover the monitoring of all ARGAN’s environmental actions.
